I remember a Night Court episode where Bull was standing by the elevator trying to think of something and when it finally came to him the elevator light came on making the "ding" sound. If anyone knows what episode that was please let me know.

That would be "Mac's Dilemma" from Season 5. It was the episode where Mac's old wartime buddy Hondo Jenkins comes and wants him to erase his file. The scene with Bull had to do with him losing a dead businessman named Mr Shibata. He had to take him down to the morgue but he ended up losing him. He was standing by the elevator when Dan came over to him and he said to Dan, " if I was dead, where would I go" or something to that effect. He thought for a minute then turned to Dan just as the bell for the elevator dinged and the light flipped on. "Exactly where I already checked" which was rechecking the elevator.
Unfortunately it was full of Boy Scouts instead. Hilarious episode. Hope this helps you. |

That's what I thought too before I posted. But, that scene isn't there when I found an episode online.
