Do you have any incorrect lyrics that you think are better than the real lyrics?

I have an incorrect lyric that I think is better than the original lyric.

Heart and Soul

Incorrect Lyric: "I used to have the Midas Touch, now everything I touch turns to dust."

Original lyric: :"I used to have a Midas Touch, I turned to gold, but he turned to dust."

From "Something in the Night" by Bruce Springsteen:

Incorrect: "You're born with muffins, and better off that way".

Correct: "You're born with nothin', and better off that way".

I like the incorrect lyrics better, because muffins are good, especially the blueberry kind!

Correct Lyric: "I Fight Authority. Authority Wins." I think my misheard versions so

Incorrect lyric "Why do they always such a poor?"

Correct lyric: Why do they always send the poor?"

I think my misheard version sounds funny as hell, albeit VERY poor grammar!
