Great! Id love to see some old NBC cartoons again! I never really liked TNBC anyway. Also, id love to see Fox get some decent cartoons for once!

Nothing is always guaranteed though so I wouldn't be quite so quick to say that NBC will simply go back to a the exact hey day (e.g. the 1970s-1980s) of Saturday mornings. The only thing that the news is clearly suggesting if you ask me, is that they'll simply start over. So more live action teen oriented programs still isn't out of the question.

God, I hope they don't do any more of those teen oriented shows. They just suck so bad. Take Saved by the Bell for instance, notice they never do any work at school. Well honey, let me tell you high schoolers do work. Bring back the good cartoons or better yet some classic cartoons.

The idea of these teen oriented shows on a place like NBC seem to be wearing out their welcome these days. There are numereous shows (i.e whatever's on the WB in primetime) like this that don't have to deal with the amount of creative restrictions as stuff that's placed on Saturday morning.

I have my doubts we'll see Saturday morning cartoons/ weekday cartoons on NBC in the near future. A lot of the NBC stations around here air local news for hours on Saturday morning plus the NBC owned station in our area airs news at 4pm, plus with so many talk shows and such. Wouldnt make sense.

Though I would rather see cartoons, even Saved by the Bell than Maury Povich doing yet another sorry on wild teenage girls.
Wonder what Connie is thinking ?

Between News and infomercial shows, Cable t.v., the internet, DVD's, and WB's Pokemania, Saturday morning as we once knew it on the big three channels (ABC, NBC, and CBS) is dead.

Especially if the FCC and their E/I mandate/concept continues to completely dictate everything. So as long as that's breathing on our backs, we might as well continue to see more flat and lame teen sitcoms on NBC, Nick Jr. rehashes on CBS, and Disney getting extremely up close in everybody's faces on ABC.

thank god. The only good teen show was Saved by the Bell. No other teen show has been the same since then.
