Hope for DVDs

"Gimme and Break!" and "Facts of Life" are two series in addition to "Mad About You" that have very few seasons on DVD. For the longest time, fans of those shows have been bellyaching about this reality on those show's pages of this very sight! If my memory is correct, this page used to also get a fair amount of posts about how only seasons one through three and the collectors edition have ever been released. However, this tradition has seemed to have petered off on this page for well over a year. Well, as far as "Gimme a Break!" is concerned, only the first season has ever been released in this country and only seasons one and two have been released anywhere in the world. I happen to own the American release of the first season and the Canadian release of the second. Well, I read a post today about how there is a company in Canada that is planning to release the whole six-season series on DVD! For those of you who do not know, Canadian DVDs work on all American players. I am so excited about this prospect! Being that "Gimme a Break!" is an even older show than "Mad About You" had a shorter life as a Prime Time regular and probably did not do quite as well in syndication, maybe there is hope for this show after all! What do you guys think?
