I remember that because September 1960 was a milestone for me, too: that
was the month that I left behind grammar school to begin junior high (or "middle school" as they call it now).

Boy this brings back memories. My mom always told the story of how the first time she ever saw The Flintstones was in March 1961, just a few months after it debuted, she'd never forget because she was in labour with me and it was on the t.v. in the labour room.
I guess I'm lucky I wasn't named Pebbles.

I have not gotten over the Flintstones, and I dont ever want to. My all time favorite cartoon, and one of the best shows of the 1960's Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Anniversary Flintstones!! Too bad none of the cast is still around to celebrate this special day. I didn't make my debut until Nov. 26, 1962.
