name of a Cartoons series needed

This has been bothering me for sometime I remember it being in the early 70's a key had been drop by some evil king until his daughter married him and they would search the world for this key does anyone remember the name this cartoon or anyinfromation about it ?

sorry cant help you, but maybe someone can help me. ok i remember this cartoon was about insects, the first episode a swarm of wasps or hornets attacked a bee hive, and killed all the bees and ate all the eggs belonging to the queen bee, but the wasps accidently dropped one of the eggs, the egg was layed and the bee then proceeded to get to this sort of valley or forest where life was perfect, he got in all sorts of adventures, can anyone tell me the name of this cartoon, i have tried looking and cant find the name of it, and no it is not maya the bee, i think it was an 80s cartoon

Plot Synopsis: In this surreal animated saga, we get to know the tale of Princess Dawn, who must find the Whispering Orchid's cove (and the glass key therein hidden) in order to save her kingdom from the spell of melancholy, which has been placed by the evil Grump. But the Grump (a mix between a demon and a dwarf) is set to spoil their mission, following them close on their trail, atop a bumbling, allergic and stupid Dragon with which he has funny quarrels. Along the way, the Princess is Kidnapped, they meet Mother Goose, Blip finds true love, and Terry is corrupted (only to be turned back to normal later)... in a fantastic, kaleidoscopic series of adventures.
