Question Which Do You Dread More?

Which do you dread more the doctor or the dentist?

I don't like going to either, but I would have to say the dentist.

Seeing the doctor does not scare me anymore, since I am used to going..LOL
So, definitely, the dentist.

Going to the doctor's doesn't bother me so much anymore. I can even deal with getting a needle now, before I wasn't able to.

I'm more afraid of going to the dentist.

The dentist. I remember hearing funny stories from people, and in an episode of the Wonder Years (for people that are familiar with the show), Kevin's dad Jack served in the army and was in the war, and he said he didn't mind getting bullets shot at him, but dreaded visits/going to the dentist . I thought that was pretty good & funny. Dentist for sure.

Wow, I'm surprised at the amount of people who worry about going to the dentist. It's not so bad. Going to the doctor usually doesn't bother me either, although it depends on what I'm going for.

oh yes it is lol. They have the doctor, then their helper. The helper sits their for 45 minutes and sticks a tube down your throat, sucking all the oxygen and liquids out of you. I come out of the dentist's office feeling like I live in Arizona . I feel like shoving that damn tube down their throats and seeing how they like it lol. It pisses me off and gets on my nerves extremely. Everything else about the dentist bugs me too. I'd rather get a shot then go to the dentist lol.

haha I guess I'm thinking more of seeing the hygienist. That's not bad at all. I really don't go to the dentist so I can see your point. Yikes.

I'm with Pleasent in saying that it depends on what I'm going for. My dentist is pretty cool, plus you can actually watch TV while you're sitting in the dentist chair! When I was little I wanted to be a dental hygentist really bad, but no way would I do that now. I don't want to be sticking my hands in people's mouths all day. I'm sure they make good money, but it's totally not worth it for me.

As for the doctor, again it depends on what I'm going in for. I had to go in for a biopsy last summer and I was scared about that, but it went pretty smoothly and fortunately everything was okay.

Generally I hate going to the doctors more, since my doctors visits are usually at my OBGYN for a pap test, and those aren't fun.

I'll put it this way... I would rather to to 10 doctor's appointments than to 1 dentist appointment!
