Default And the First Cancelled Show of the Season is...

The Beautiful Life. CW has cancelled it after just two episodes aired. Melrose Place reruns will fill the slot for now.

Dawn Ostroff is a very, very stupid woman. She cancels this piece of garbage and what does she replace it with? A repeat of the also-low-rated Melrose Place.

I guess it wasn't such a Beautiful Life after all. (I'm just kidding! I feel bad for the cast and crew but I couldn't help myself.)

It probably won't be too long, so you might have a very short nap, Brent.

They'd probably be better off airing test patterns at this point.

I continue to be miffed as to why Dawn is still in charge. I guess she's going down with the ship. I don't see how they can last much longer, they are losing so much money because no one watches.

I don't get it either. But, The CW isn't going anywhere. They have a new hit on their hands, and it's called The Vampire Diaries. My guess is after this season, The CW will find a change of heart - instead of going for the white rich girl audience, they'll go for the niche vampire/blood-sucking audience.

VD is the only hit the CW has anymore. Can a network survive on just one hit show?
