I know that The Jetsons was set in the
21st century but did they ever specify what year it was?

No. And that's probably a good thing, as it would've dated the show terribly(besides, this actually being the 21st century now, don't you all feel, well, CHEATED? Hell, I know I do! No rocket-cars, no round trips to Alpha Centauri, no floating apartments....reality really sucks!)
