wanted to find out what SO community's own diverse tastes in musical styles and genres are: you can be more specific by stating the era/decade as well as the genre.
for me, my favourite types of music are: classic pop from the 80s- madonna, prince, jacko, hall and oates, boy meets girl, fleetwood mac, human league, cyndi lauper, laura branigan, kylie minogue to name 80s, 90s r'n'b- up until it became commercialised today, it was known as new jack swing, swingbeat- cameo 80s, 90s rap- same with r'n'b soft rock- bon jovi for example 70s disco 80s, 90s dance- some euro dance music you can use the wikipedia link below as a guide to help you make your selections: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._of_music:_A-F |

Primarily Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, but I also listen to
Soft Rock 70's Disco & 80's Retro Classic Rock Even some classical I also love alot of "music" type shows - Jesus Christ Superstar, Tommy, Phantom of the Opera, Spam-a-lot I consider myself rather diverse. I've seen anywhere from Aerosmith, Metallica, Rush, Def Leppard, Megadeth(and others) in concert, but I've also seen Barry Manilow, Barbra Streisand, Liza Minnelli, Tony Bennett, etc.
