Cool 80's Cartoons

Man, I feel real sorry for kids who didn't grow up in the 80's. The cartoons were sooo much better back then. I don't even think kids now a days watch a lot of cartoons compared to the kids in the 80's. Here are my all time favorite cartoons I wish Cartoon Network would show:
GI Joe
GoBots
Transformers
Jem and the Holograms
He-Man
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teen Wolf (I remember a cartoon of this, it was CBS)
COPS
Rambo
Denver the Last Dinosaur
I also loved Thundercats but that's already on CN.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were my favorite eighties cartoon! Turtle power!

I can't quite remember if these were 80's shows specifically, but I haven't seen them for years....

Does anyone remember a show called 'Rude Dog and the Dweebs'? None of my friends can remember it but I know I'm not imagining it. I thought it was so cool but it hasn't been on TV in years.

And does anyone remember 'Kissyfur'? I haven't seen that for ages either.

I remember both of those, Rude Dog was on CBS. And Kissyfur was on NBC. Kissyfur was on real early in the morning so I didnt see much of it.

Cool

I used to watch Jem and the Rockers, Belle and Sabastian, Astroboy, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Fables of the Green Forest, etc. I hope they would also put back Rocket Robinhood. There was a lot of creativity in eighties cartoons.

Talking

What about Silver Hawks. I used to love that show. Thundercats and Silver Hawks were back to back. I loved those shows. I agree, I think the kids growing up now-a-days are missing on some good cortoons.

If There was a cartoon that totally ruled the 1980's, It would have to be the one-and-only "Smurfs"! For Longest running cartoons, Next to "The Simpsons", the Smurfs were really the second-longest.
