My thoughts on the eagles saints game - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Turnabout is fair play.. That pretty much sums it up for me... As good as the defense looked last week, they were equally as bad today... I think the game plan was awful & the players were just soft today...

Anyhoo... Here are my thoughts..

Kevin Kolb was not the reason the eagles lost today... He I think held up his end of the bargain this afternoon...

This game took a turn for the worse when the eagles had 3rd and 4 inside their own 10 with 1:31 left on the clock... Andy called a pass play instead of just running the clock out (well almost running it out).. It was an incomplete pass & the saints were left with 1:25 and got the ball at mid field... They scored a TD... Then Kolb engineered a nice half ending drive that lead to 3 pts...

Start of the 2nd half hobbs fumbles the opening kickoff & gives the saints the ball at the eagles 20... 3 plays later TD SAINTS...

Then Kevin Kolb made the worst throw of the day.. A horrendous pass that was underthrown & picked off by the saints... 2 plays later TD..

Saints scored 28 pts off eagles turnovers & again I say turnabout fair play...

It is my feeling that even with mcnabb in there today we would not have won... The special teams errors just cost us dearly... The team for whatever reason was not ready to play in 2 out of 3 facets of the game

It is sooooooooooooooo much fun watching my team in person..Today marks the beginning of my 18th season as a season ticket holder & I have been a fan long enough to know your never as good or as bad as you look in a given week....

Up next the chiefs in Philadelphia so The guys just have to shake this off and get back to work tomorrow and focus on the chiefs!!!!

Let me also say what a dam good QB Drew Brees is... Man that guy can throw the football

You need to win 2 out of 3 facets of the game to win in the NFL & the eagles lost all 3 today & 2 out of the 3 BADLY

shut the hell up, you won't do anything, at least that you already haven't done. he didn't say anything in that post that isn't true. you have KC winning the SB? thought so. they are a bad offense and a bad defense, but anything can happen in the NFL so that is why I am not saying anything about next week's game, except that I'm excited.

Has that jackass Michael Vick started playing for the Eagles yet? If so then I'm GLAD they lost! Plus, I like the Saints, so it's cool that they won!! I personally want the Eagles to tank so badly that they'll reconsider that Michael Vick decison. I don't care how good of a player he is.

He will be playing next week for the first time. He will only be seen when the Eagles are doing a TRICK play which will alert the defense right away as soon as he steps on the field
