Default Wally Cleaver's beer commercial

Not sure if this has been posted before, but here is Tony Dow's TV commercial for Old Milwaukee beer, from sometime in the mid-1970s:

That was hilarious! I had no idea that Tony Dow was in that commercial. I think I've seen it before! Thanks for posting!

It's a great commercial. It reminds me of the LITB episode when Wally is on a date with an older girl, and she orders a beer for him at a bar & grill. I haven't seen that episode in a long time, but I'm pretty sure Beaver and Gilbert are spying on Wally through the window.

I have that commercial, but I think at this point Beaver and Gilber would probably have joined Wally in drinking a beer.

Wow, they really showed beer on Leave it to Beaver? I'm shocked! I know it wasn't really beer, but just the idea!!!

It's the episode titled "Box Office Attraction". The whole point of the episode is that the girl (who works as a ticket-taker in the local movie theater) is a little too wild for Wally because she drinks, smokes cigarettes, and has a "life in the fast lane" attitude. Maybe she would be perfect for Eddie Haskell!

Despite Eddie's tough talk, I think she would be too much for even him.

Good point.

Maybe she would have been just right for Lumpy, or Larry Mondello.

I loved that episode. Gilbert then says to Beaver, "Do you know what they call girls like her? That's a woman of the world!"

Every time I think of Old Milwaukee, I think of gross Cousin Eddie from Christmas Vacation guzzling it down.
