Edward Gerald Baker was the Houston, Texas oilman who was found dead in his burning car(or so it seems!)

Fascinating case.

Mastermind, you have just made my day on the board. I thought it couldn't get any better after one of the Mike Riemer threads got bumped, but here you come along and start an Ed Baker poll.

My feelings? Murdered. Definitely, positively murdered. Whether it was one of the parties he owed or his widow (I know some of our members have a copy of Murderers Among Us; that theory didn't make sense to me until I picked up a copy), he was murdered. No doubt in my mind.
