Default anyone else having issues with spookyfoxmulder?

the complaints keep rolling in. I wanted to see if there were any others

here are the existing ones, which are all recent.

We agreed to a trade in July. He told me to get a certain set together, which I did, but he couldn't send for a couple weeks as he needed to wait to get paid and buy some more blanks, I haven't received e-mails from him since July. Between time, money (for supplies) and effort, I could be out a significant amount.

-2nd trader stated that he sent money to spooky to buy him something in the UK, hasn't heard from him in a month, hasn't received item. Finally received e-mail from spooky stating that he hasn't been online for much for a month due to religious reasons.

-3rd trader stated that he initially canceled a trade, but reinstated it. She sent her end, he hasn't sent or heard from him.

-4th trader stated he/she received discs, but 5 were defective. He/She asked for replacements, has not received communication or discs.

-5th trader stated he is awaiting 30 movies from him and has not received his end. spooky said he was awaiting money from his cousin as the movies were for him.

-6th trader said spooky claimed the 40 discs she sent him didn't work. I found it hard to believe that none of them worked. She asked for discs back the same day he made the complaint, and he said he didn't have them anymore. She sent the remakes of the discs. Administrator of that trading site followed up on issue and spooky seemed irritated thad administrator followed up on issue.

so that's 6 issues so far, and all very recently. Additionally, there is a lack of communication from him on all of them. Additionally, he seems to have a different excuse for each trade. On top of this, there was an issue of him creating a second account on another trading site, with another e-mail.

hi, i had him purchase some items for me in the UK from ebay.uk and he did. sent money and he sent part of the items. have tried to send additional funds for mailing so he will send the rest of the items, but i haven't heard from him. i was told on CPS that it's not uncommon for him to drop off line for awhile and then resurface. i sure wish i could get the rest of my items. if anyone knows anything, please let me know. thanks stoogedog

Default updated

When the original inquiry of "where is spooky" popped up - I paid no attention due to, as Stooge says in the past he has dropped off for a bit- When a few traders had things needed or were waiting on- I emailed him as I knew he hadn't logged on here, my site or any other that I was aware of.
I emailed him, letting him know about the thread- and within a day he wrote back, and has updated me telling me 3 of the users, he is taking care of currently- and 1, he has sent- it is enroute- but has not arrived yet, due to distance/customs etc.

We have exchanged a few emails, I actually just wrote him to let him know about this new thread- and anticipate he will write you Stooge, if he does let me (or this post) know-
So you can get it resolved.

I don't want to speak for him, I just wanted to update that he did reply to my emails and stated he is currently trying to resolve what he can, and once those are resolved I have asked those users to post - so the list can be reduced as it gets sorted out.

And to make mention, the "previous" situation of discs that didn't work, about 6 months ago, yes a user contacted me stating that all of her discs to Spooky didn't work- she asked to send them to me, to see they worked- and then for me to send them on- because she wasn't sure why they hadn't worked in his machines, and wanted to verify they did- before sending to the UK again.
She did redo them, I did check them- and sent them on- to which when I sent them I did inquire if it could be his machines, and I imagine with anyone when you make that inquire you risk possibly offending them, if they feel they are being doubted.
Regardless of that, the discs were received, worked fine- both parties were satisfied.

As said, I have sent this thread to him directly so he has a chance to reply, or can at least contact you stooge to work things out.

Robyrob is an excellent moderator, so Spooky can always contact him if need me as well- I just wanted to share the fact he had contacted me back with the forum.

I made 4-6 trades with Spooky. Each of these trades were quite large 300-500 discs each.
In each trade, there was always parts of each series missing. As I said each trade was pretty big, and I believe he simply got overwhelmed with the sheer volume. I have dcome to the conclusion that I can not depend on the sets as being complete that I rec'vd from him.
I do have the rest of a trade ready to send to him, BUT, he hasn't answered my emails either. I believe he got over booked on trades . If he straightens up in the future, Anyone who trades with him needs to keep the trades to less that 50 discs, and have him ship 1st.

Default Ive

Ive had numerous pm's and emails inquiring if I have any updates-

None thus far.

Those I was told he was working on, have not received.
Atlas's package was already sent, hasn't arrived-
And my last email to him pointed out this thread, due to Stoogedog having a concern as well- So with an additional name, I wanted him to read the thread and be as up to date as possible on issues.

So far, I haven't heard back since that contact.
Due to his distance (in the UK, shipping to the US)
It hard to know just how much time to allow- but so far I have not yet heard of anything arriving- and have asked the users involved if they do receive to post, or contact me/robyrob so this thread can be updated.

Default So far

As of today's date, he hasn't replied to my last 3 emails in over a month.
You are, so far the only user I know whom has received their end.
There are, as of right now 6 users waiting on a resolve.

In the last 3 months, since this issue came public, he hasn't written personally, 1 of those 6 users.
And as of the last email- claimed 4 packages went out.
Those 4 users, received nothing so far.

I urged him to post here, to contact users- to communicate his problems and delays- I don't think that effort was taken, unless someone failed to tell me.

So as of right now, he owes 6 users- or, 2 users and 4 packages went missing.

His account was suspended on my board, after he ceased contact with me completely-

I was aware there were still outstanding issues, offered to help- gave numerous options-from the moment complaints came in.
His original email was optiimistic, stated he was working on things, mentioned being ready to send out and resolve all of the issues at hand.
More issues came out, on this site, and mine- as time went on.

Unless it was never passed on to me, he made no attempts to communicate with multiple users that had issues personally- , and beyond his original reply to me- there was no further communication with him and after 3 months of no contact, I banned him from my site.

I have told all users who questioned me on his reputation, to get their items first- because apparently years of trading and a great reputation can go out the window at any time.

If he wishes to start trading again, its obvious he CAN contact users, and CAN run off discs- hence, there is no reason not to resolve outstanding issues in my opinion.

Of course, if my opinion is wrong, he is welcome to post here, and give any explanations- but it seems he walked away from various obligations he set up -and of the people I have been made aware he has contacted, none of them are the users he owed to thus far.
I can only give advice based on knowledge I have, and that being said- I wouldn't feel comfortable trading him again. He gave no explanations, no apologies- and no personal contact to resolve things- and has now, contacted several users to trade despite all of that.
