Movie The Trailer for Clint Eastwood's Thriller "Hereafter"

Matt Damon Toplines Spielberg, Eastwood Supernatural Thriller!
Friday, September 18, 2009
By: MrDisgusting

Matt Damon will star in Hereafter, Clint Eastwood's next producing-directing project for Warner Bros., with lensing on the thriller set to begin this fall.

For Eastwood, the project's a move into supernatural territory.

Warner Bros. is keeping the logline under wraps beyond describing the project as a thriller in the vein of The Sixth Sense.

So, we gotta cover this, right? I'm not complaining!

Peter Morgan, who received an Oscar nomination for "Frost/Nixon," penned the script.
Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, Morgan and Tim Moore are exec producing.

Project was originally set up at DreamWorks.

Hey that's great news about Hereafter. I thought that was going to be Clint's next movie but I hadn't heard anything about it since last November.

Yeah, this one looks like it can be good.

I heard that originally Million Dollar Baby was going to be Eastwood's last directed feature. Is that true?

No. He had originally said that MDB was going to be his last acting movie but he changed his mind when he saw the script for GT. I think he'll continue directing until he physically can't. I don't know if he'll ever act again though. Most think that GT was a great way for him to go out and he's said that it's hard to find good roles for people his age. He'll be 80 next year. I'd still love to see him on screen though.

Thanks for clearing that one up.

Personally, I just didn't get into Million Dollar Baby. I did love Gran Torino and Angelina Jolie's Changeling.

This movie should really be good, Clint directing and Matt Damon starring. I smell a hit.

Saw 'High Tension' and enjoyed it. Thought that was the only movie Cecile did. Great she found work since then (and is still acting)

She's actually been in a lot of things overseas. She's just not really known among US audiences.

Bryce Dallas Howard is the latest to join the cast of Clint Eastwood's supernatural thriller Hereafter, which is currently shooting for Warner Bros.

Matt Damon toplines the film with High Tension's Cecile de France also co-starring.

Trailer Debut For Eastwood's Supernatural Thiller Hereafter
Friday, September 10, 2010
By: BC

You gotta love the work ethic of Clint Eastwood. While most guys his age (80!) have retired, he's still working steadily - this is his sixth film as a director in just over 4 years.

And while most have been Oscar bait-y dramas or war stories, this is a rare trip for him into the supernatural/thriller genre.

Hereafter stars Matt Damon as a guy who can communicate with the dead, and has tried to walk away from that part of his life, until a huge disaster threatens to pull him back in.

Even scarier, Jay Mohr is in it.

Apple has launched the trailer - http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/wb/hereafter/
