The Office to Get A Spinoff Series After All.....Online!

Mindy Kaling, who plays The Office’s Kelly Kapoor told TV Guide Magazine how excited she is about a series of spin-off webisodes she directed for nbc.com which feature her charater, Kelly, new receptionist Erin (Ellie Kemper), Andy (Ed Helms) and Ryan (B.J. Novak) forming an all-girl band named Subtle Sexuality.

Yes, you read that right—a girl group with two guys! Debuting in mid-October, one of the three installments features a full-length music video shot on The Office set. “I’m really proud of these and can’t wait for fans to see them,” says Mindy. We can also expect plenty of music and dancing at Jim and Pam’s wedding—a one-hour episode, airing October 8, written by Mindy and executive producer Greg Daniels. At Jim and Pam’s reception, Mindy says, “Andy does some dancing and singing that I think people will like.”
