Biggrin Dumbest Celebrity Quotes?

One of the dumbest celebrity quotes I can think of is what Britney Spears said on an interview after she was asked why she drove with her baby on her lap. She answers, "That's the way my daddy drove with me. He put me on his lap while he drove us around."

She also made a comment saying she likes Elvis cause he is from Vegas.

You can rely on the dippy Paris Hilton for a stupid comment.

Someone asked her about Walmart and she replied asking do they sell stuff for walls there.

Also when her book came out and she outsold Bill Clinton (whos bio came out around the same time), she asked if that was a good thing???

Lets see you are an heiress who does nothing and you come out with a book that outsells the President and you have to ask is that a good thing.

Oh boy.

He is very quotable, but I wouldn't say his comments are dumb. There's an intelligence behind them.

The real king of the dumb quotations is former President George W. Bush.

"Is our children learning?"

"Africa is a nation that suffers from incredible disease."

"They misunderestimated me."

That's one of my English language pet peeves.

I think just about anything Paula Abdul says can be included in this thread. Here is a funny Paula moment from AI...

I have a couple:

Brooke Shields : "Smoking kills. If you're killed, you've lost a very important part of your life."

Christina Aguilera : "So, where is the Cannes Film Festival being held this Year?"

The first George Bush's VP Dan Quayle also had some pretty stupid quotes. It was all downhill after the potato incident.

I generally like GWB as a human being but an orator, he's not. One of my favorite quotes was his line about human beings and fish co-existing peacefully. I used to love those little GWB "Quote of the Day" desk calendars.

I also agree with just about everyone else that Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and the like can be counted on dumb quotes. Although I have to say that Jessica Simpson is probably queen of airhead quotes these past few years.

What was that one Jessica Simpson said, it was something about Chicken of the Sea Tuna, she thought it was chicken or something?

Oh yes, I remember Quayle. He was the one who was so happy to be in "The great state of Chicago!"

"Is this chicken I have or fish?"

She famously asked then-hubby Nick on their show. He told her it was Tuna. But she famously pointed out that the label said "Chicken of the Sea."

You tell him, Jess!

Plus she didn't want to eat buffalo wings because she thought they were made with real buffalo.
