Smile Cartoon Coming to Nickelodeon!!!!

I am glad Nickelodeon will start airing "Pinky and the Brain". Weekdays at 6:00pm. But I wish they would still show Charlie Brown, Inspector Gadget and Garfield and Friends!

I wish they'd bring back Gadget, Garfield, Charlie Brown too! Muppet babies, Alvin and the Chipmunks are on other channels now. But they should add Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Dennis the Menace cartoon, instead of this original stuff.

"Jim Henson's Muppet Babies" aired on The Odyssey Channel for a long time. I went to The Odyssey Channel's web site and it said that the show was not on anymore. I wish the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would come back on. Did USA Network's rights to the show expire, because Cartoon Network is interested in getting them.

::ahems:: Laverne & Shirley in the Army!

"Well, Laverne is sort of childish"

"Well at least I don't sew L's on everything I wear!"

"Well that would be pretty stupid considering your name's Shirley!"

There's a whole slew of tv-related cartoons that Nick/TVLand should be showing... we need to start a letter writing campaign! Besides the afore-mentiond "Fonzie & the Happy Days Gang" and "Laverne & Shirley In The Army", there were also cartoon versions of I Dream of Jeanie, Mork & Mindy, Gilligans Island, The Brady Bunch, and THe Partirdge Family (to name just a few)! There's *plenty* of these related cartoons for them to try at least a one-weekend type of thing. Anybody remember years ago when they did Puffapalooza? I see it being something like that...

Somebody should start showing reruns of "Duckman," because I've never got a chance to see it. From what I've read on the web about it though, it sounds pretty funny.

And when "Daria" goes off the air, somebody should pick it up for syndication too.

Daria will never be able to go to syndication. Shows that are cable-specific premiered shows can't.

I was playing Neopets and clicked on a cartoonnetwork.com link. Was I surprised to see that they're going to be airing Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch. Woohoo!!!

Boomerang has ended up boeing just about the best friend a cartoon lover could ever have. I just wish they would show the ORIGINAL Superfriends episodes, instead of those "The Batman Superman Adventures" show with the weird music and computerized opening. Bring back Challenge of the Superfriends!

N@N/TVLand should start a new network for cartoons like that. Of course, we already got Cartoon Network, and Boomerang. Maybe we need a Cartoon Network 2 or something!
