There is a little article about Michaela Garecht in this weeks issue Of PEOPLE Magazine (the one with Brad Paisley, his wife kim, and their new baby on the cover). Its with the Jaycee Dugard story. They mention some other kids that have been missing for a long time also.

Michaela's mom, Sharon Murch (the one that was interviewed in the Unsolved Mysteries segment) said that she was happy that Jaycee was able to return home. She also said that her heart screamed: "why couldn't it have been Michaela returning home?" Sharon mentions this in the article in PEOPLE Magazine.

I'm really surprised that this one didn't have any kind of update. There isn't a doubt in my mind that little Michaela was probably sold into child sex slavery or murdered. I thought for sure that someone who recognized the composite drawing of the kidnapper would have come forth or a body would have been found.
