The VMA's...what the heck?! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

While last year's show was pretty good, this year's show was downright crazy! Actually the opening with the Michael Jackson tribute was awesome! Though, I noticed Janet Jackson seemed shaky, understandably so, and was trying to keep it together. Then when Katy Perry (who I think is CRAZY HOT!!!!

) and Aerosmith's Joe Perry ushering in Russel Brand (who I can't stand) with "We Will Rock You". I have a crush on Taylor Swift (a HUUUUGE one-she is gorgeous!) and I was thrilled when she won, but got PO'd when Kanye West steamrolled over her acceptance speech. I'm a big fan of his music, but why does he do these crazy things?! What is he trying to accomplish/prove?! But I loved when Beyonce gave Taylor a chance to finish her speech later in the show during her acceptance speech. I love Beyonce, she's gorgeous, talented and sweet at the same time. And I loved Pink's performance, but she has nerves (and kidneys) of STEEL!!! But she is SOOOO HOT!!!! I love tough girls!! And Lady Ga-Ga...what was that all about?! She was bleeding at the end of her set and looked like she was woken out of a coma. I love her music, but why does she keep covering up her pretty face and wearing those crazy outfits? And I was hoping Cobra Starhsip would win "Best Pop Video", because I think they are much better than that pseudo-porn Britney Spears/"Womanizer"! Green Day ROCKED, as usual! Megan Fox looked HOT as usual! And Jay-Z/Alicia Keys did a great close-out. Jay-Z is awesome, and so is Alicia (and Alicia is HOT!! as well as talented) So, basically, this show didn't really suck, but it was just crazy. But at least Britney wasn't there to hog the limelight for a change. Sure, she won an award and accepted her award via-sattelite, but at least she didn't get all the attention just by showing up. But, poor Taylor Swift. I think I should go comfort her right now...

That West guy has no class and I don't have any respect for him or other rappers, they're just arrogant aholes.

Dont know. Dont watch award shows. I find them extremly boring.

i didnt see the whole thing, but this was definitely the best VMAs in several years imo.

Kanye West is disgusting though. :x
