Thumbs up

Space Ghost rocks, but I personally prefer "Cartoon Planet." Why? Because Brak is a regular on that show!

ALL HAIL BRAK!

Question

Is Brak that green insect-thing?
I don't understand Space Ghost - why do you guys like it so much? Over here Cartoon Network only ever put it on in the middle of the night cos noone watches it.

We like it because it is so dumb you just can't hate it. Atleast thats why I like it.

I'm sorry you can't watch cartoon network. I love the place.

The green insect thing is Zorak. Brak is the loud one.

The same as me, I prefer the old 1960s version.
By the way, for old times sake, several years ago, I bought a figurine of Space Ghost. This one was totally transparent so his costume was nowhere in sight. Just a figurine whose total transparency means his invisibility power.

Brak has a red face, black suit, and blue suspenders. Zorak is the green mantis dude. Moltar looks like hes wearing a radiation suit and stays in the basement of the studio.

You have no idea- It was on in the middle of the night because it was aimed at adults and was on adult swim. It was incredibly popular and ran from 1994 until 2008 with 110 episodes and some of the greatest guests the likes of the late show and Conan (heh! Conan was a guest of Space Ghost!) could only dream of.

The old and new shows are completely different in format and content, they shouldnt be compared.

Among my favorite episodes of SG is the one about that Flying Saucer specifically the Crab Saucer, so called because when it's on land, it would sprout the legs of a crab.

In that category of such unusual spaceships, most people don't know about the story of the Buzz Saw flying saucer. It's where the circumference of the Saucer, that is, all along its Outer Edge is sharply serrated. In that way, when the saucer spins, it can slice through a high rise building. And that's what a whole Fleet of Saucers did when they arrived on Earth. At first, it was seen as an Invasion because the Saucers sliced the skyscrapers without explanation. Later, it was found that the alien saucers were trying to save the Earth. Because the aliens knew that a White Dwarf Star was heading toward Earth to collide with Earth, thereby destroying Earth. In order for the aliens to set up the giant ray-cannon at the proper angle to vaporize the white dwarf star, several skyscrapers had to be cleared out of the way to provide an Unobstructed angle.
