Default Emmit Smith said on ESPN Radio the Cowboys will finish 7-9-LOL

I just gained a lot of respect for him as an analyst even he sounds like a fool on the air. But I have to agree with him, I have no more faith in Tony Romo and the Defense has always been a problem. You combine both of those factors and you have 7-9 or maybe 6-10.

Jaworski should learn from Emmit and Aikman about HOW NOT TO BE HOMER.

The Cowboy fans on the Zone were trashing him big time last night. lol Some actually think we'll be 12-4 or better. I still say we can be anywhere from 10-6 to 7-9. As long as Wade Phillips is the coach I think we'll under achieve. I so wanted him gone after last year. Romo still has to prove he's the leader of this team. Just saying he is doesn't make it so. As for Emmitt, after all he's done for the Cowboys, he can say whatever he wants. He's earned it.

If Mike Shanahan becomes coach of the Cowboys, watch out for Jay Cutler getting traded to the Cowboys.

But then again, he might try to get Romo to play better since Norv didn't ask for his own QB when he came to San Diego at first.

Because of the Cutler/McDaniels spat, I have wondered if Norv ever thought if Philip could work in his system but I take it that new coaches do meet with the players and they talk.

Solomon likes any team that wins, but that aren't from Philly. Patriots, Giants & Cowgirls.

And Sonny, I agree about Wade Phillips, but Romo is a choke as well. The fumble against Seattle. 44-6. Do I even have to clarify that game? The game vs. the Steelers. When he gets rushed, he does dumb things. Mostly either makes a bad pass, throws an interception or fumbles it. Same thing I guess lol.

And before that it was the Giants (coincidentally right around when they won the infamous SB as well), and Patriots lol .

I'm not going to get on him that much for the Seattle game. He brought the Cowboys back and he almost got in the endzone at the end after the botched hold. If he would have gotten at least the 1st down I think he might have been looked at differently. He was awful in that Philly game though. That was the worse that I've ever seen him. That's when I finally started to think that he might never win a big game. Manning and Brady have lost big games before but neither ever looked that bad. Of course the whole team looked bad. And yes I was angy he went to Mexico with Jessica during our bye week 2 years ago. Not that I think it had any effect but I knew the media would be all over it and make it much worse if we loss. And his little comments after the Philly game, how he'd have a pretty good life if the worse thing that ever happened to him was lose a football game. It technically wasn't wrong but he had no business saying it. No fan wants to hear that after you had your ass handed to you by one of your biggest rivals. He has a lot to learn about leadership.

I agree Sonny. I always thought the guy was a chump, or an ass, if you will, maybe an a-hole, for the things he said. He always acted weird in press conferences, and never accepted a loss or a mistake. He was always real weird & touchy around those areas, with the media. He definitely needs to learn a lot about leadership, and has a long way to go. I can't agree with you more.

Probably the same, until somebody says to him "Get your sh*t together. Be a leader. Accept your mistakes, faults & losses. Don't be a punk, or a Mr. Know it All, Mr. Can Do It All either."
