I Love Lucy Thesis Paper Question - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum.

I am currently writing my thesis paper for my advertising degree and I want to make a reference to I love Lucy, but I need to find out the exact episode that the reference is from.

I used to watch I love Lucy on Nick At Nite all the time when I was a kid, and I remember one scene where Lucy asks Fred to buy her some Q-Tips but Fred doesn't get what she means and he actually buys que sticks for pool.

I think it was in the beginning of the episode but other than that, I have absolutely no idea from which episode it is from.

Does any I love Lucy expert know the episode where that scene is from. I would really help me make an important point in my paper.

I think that was from the episode "Ricky Sells The Car". It's at the beginning when Lucy tells Ricky that she sent Fred out for some Q-tips. But, Fred brought back them Q-sticks instead that you use to play pool with. This episode is in Season 5 on disk 1 if you have the DVDs. This is also, the episode where Lucy has to dig shaving lather out of her purse and Little Ricky has it all over him to. Then later in the same episode Fred and Ethel try to rid home on a motorcycle and Fred wreaks it because he had it and reverse. Hope this helps.
