Exclamation Tedy Bruschi's retirement lasted all of one week...

Tedy Bruschi's retirement lasted all of one week.
The former New England Patriots all-pro linebacker has signed with ESPN as an analyst for a slew of its pro-football shows. He'll make his debut Thursday on "NFL Live" before the league's opening game -- Tennessee against the Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers.

Bruschi played 13 seasons in the NFL -- all with the Patriots -- and was on three Super Bowl champions. He will also offer analysis on the cabler's ESPNBoston.com website, which begins Sept. 14.

The net recently launched a website for all things related to Chicago sports and will expand into New York, Dallas and Los Angeles in the near future.

Tedy is getting off to a rocky but I will cut him a break since it's his first night. He is stuttering a lot when he talks and you know how I feel about a analyst who has bad speaking skills-lol

The Pats as well, Aaron. He used to be with San Diego as well, before he signed with the Pats a few years ago.

Bruschi's safer behind an analyst's desk than on the playing field. After his stroke, his wife was probably on his back to retire. I know I would be.
