Of course, if Michael Landon had created and produced the program instead of Norman Lear, Ms. Rolle would not have left and J.J. would not have monopolized the show because unlike Lear, Landon believed in emphasizing quality over quantity, as seen via his work on Little House on the Prairie and Highway to Heaven.

Michael Landon was the best, I have both LHOP and Highway to Heaven on DVD, never get sick of them.
