Oh No Gene Simmons starring in the stupidest sounding Christmas Movie this Century!

http://www.rttnews.com/ArticleView.aspx?Id=1058932

Gene Simmons is starring in an upcoming holiday film, titled The Christmas Movie.

The movie is about a young, well-to-do Mary living in modern times, who gets pregnant and ends up in a trailer park. The KISS bass player plays Mary's Jewish truck-driver father.

Other actors to star in the film include Elliott Gould, Linda Gray, Lainie Kazan, Cloris Leachman, Della Reese, Oleysa Rulin, Cybill Shepherd, and Fred Willard.

The Christmas Movie was written and directed by Dan Gordon, who is probably known for writing the script for The Hurricane.

No release date has been announced, but the Internet movie database at IMDB.com indicates the film is in post production.

Ditto - plus how did such a talented group of actors get sucked into such a horrible-sounding movie??

I'm not surprised. Every year it seems the "networks" come out with even sillier & sillier Christmas movies, not to mention some are just way too SAPPY. I don't watch most of them anyway.

I don't think it sounds blasphemous, it sounds like a contemporary take on a familiar Christmas theme, but I don't know. Gene Simmons is an actor as well as a musician, but--is it a contradiction for him to play in this when he's JEWISH??

I'd at least hope they treat this with some kind of respect for believing viewers. I dunno, though, considering Gene's reputation as a ladies' man, I'm thinking that Gene, in his "godlike" glory and handle on "humility", will want to make Mary anything less than the Virgin Mother of a contemporary Christ Child and take all the credit for fathering Him.

Dang, this DOES sound blasphemous!! Well, let's cross our fingers...

Talking

Gene Simmons should stick to real holiday fare, such as

'KISS SAVES SANTA'!!!!!!

Anyone familiar with 'Family Guy' should know this one!!
