I try to eat more wheat bread since it's better for you but I honestly prefer the taste of white better.

I love bread period, white, wheat or rye it doesn't matter. Although the best was my Grandma's homemade cinnamon bread.

As far as white bread goes I like baguette (chewy like pizza crust) and croissant(butter flakey goodness).

I like a lot of the steakhouse bread that dark and crusty, like Outback or Longhorn.

I love white bread, but I don't buy it because it isn't good for you. I buy whole grain wheat bread. It is fine. Better for you but not soft and fresh and tasty like white bread.

I must be the only one here who thinks white bread is absolutely disgusting. My mom raised me on wheat bread, and I'm thankful to her for doing so. Wheat holds up FAR better than white.

I love rye, as well. The firmer, the better. I like the comfort of knowing my sandwiches will stay together, not fall apart like white bread sandwiches.

I can do both, but I prefer white. There's a grocery store here called Publix and they have the softest white bread, most excellent for PB&J!

A friend got me into potato bread, too, it stays softer longer than any other bread, and it's great with some chicken salad.
