*UPDATE* "The Mothers-In-Law" scheduled for early next year! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have just received an e-mail letting me know that "The Mothers-In-Law" will not be released until early next year. If you've been waiting, like me, for an announcement, we probably won't hear something for another couple of months or so. At least, we have another season of "Here's Lucy" to look forward to.

I noticed that the preview clip on the Here's Lucy DVD said "the complete series seasons 1 & 2" so I'm taking it as the release will still be the entire series. I look for this release of MIL to come out probably around season 3 of HL as well as the release of the next DVD in the Lucille Ball Specials series.

In the brochure for Season 1 of "The Lucy Show" the coverart says "The Complete Series" and the write-up reads "Deluxe Set". So I'm guessing it will be a complete set with both seasons and loads of bonus features.

I found this on Kaye's website:

Kaye has just finished recording an interview to be included on the Fall 2010 (this time it's TRUE) release of the entire series of THE MOTHERS-IN-LAW!

So it's likely that an interview with Kaye Ballard will be one of the bonus features. However, I hope we don't have to wait until Fall 2010. That would be practically a year away.

I hope we do not have to wait that long into 2010 also!! I noticed this also on Kaye's website before I had heard about the delay of the release until 2010. I thought at the time that the fall 2010 date must have been a typo, since it was to be fall/winter of 2009. Maybe fall 2010 is correct. We just have to keep waiting and see. This is one of my favorite shows of all time. I hope the prints are in great shape!

Hopefully, it's a typo. MPI has said it will be out in early 2010. It would be a little odd for them to promote its release in that brochure so far in advance. It's been a long road for fans of this series to see it released on dvd.

It is frustrating not knowing if we'll see this show in the spring or not 'til fall of 2010, but I'm thrilled to know Kaye Ballard is involved in this release!

TVSODVD.com just reported that (according to Kaye Ballard's Website), M.P.I.
intends to have The Mothers-in-Law out for mothers day!!!! I hope this is information we can bite on and chew!!!!!!!!

Wow! It's March 3rd and still no news of this release?!?! I had just finished a few box sets and was coming round to get this one and there isn't even news of a release date. I'm doubting they are going to bother with it anymore. Something's fishy with this release. Hmmmmm.

I'm getting concerned about MPI in general not only inrelation to The Mothers-In-Law. It's also been quite some time now since we've had any news on more seasons of Here's Lucy.
