A day after its hosts received Emmys, "The View" today announced that it's changing up its style.

Executive producer Bill Geddie said, in a release, that the goal is a more interactive, less formal feel to the show. "The end result will be a show that is raw, while still being relevant," he said.

Could it be "The View: Unplugged"? The new season starts Sept. 8. The ABC chatfest airs at 11 a.m. weekdays on WFTV-Channel 9.

"The View" will showcase the green room, where guests wait before going on, during live telecasts. The show will draw more on its Web site to involve viewers, who can submit questions, suggest Hot Topics and earn backstage passes. Viewers also could appear via Skype on the show. The show will have a new opening and a revamped set with a new color theme.

The first guests this season? New Emmy-winners Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar and Sherri Shepherd will have the Sept. 8 show to themselves. Elisabeth Hasselbeck is on maternity leave.

Wednesday, Sept. 9: Co-host Meghan McCain, Cindy Crawford, Rod Blagojevich and wife Patti.

Thursday, Sept. 10: Co-host McCain, Juliette Binoche and Russell Brand, who will host the MTV Music Video Awards.

I would like to go at least one month without hearing about anything controversial or stupid one of the "View" ladies either said or did. Please?

I would like to see "The View" shake things up in a different way... by canceling this crappy show!!!

AMEN!! Just the fact that these "ladies" won Emmys just goes to show what a joke the Emmys have become.
