Question Are Your Pets Picky Eaters?

Are your pets picky eaters?

We have two cats. They are both picky about what they will eat. Romeo likes dry cat and wet cat food, however, he doesn't like the wet food in the cans. He's also picky about the wet food in the packets. He likes Meow Mix packets. We bought two new wet food packets, but they were a different brand. They were Special Kitty and Romeo wouldn't eat it. Cuddles only likes dry cat food. She won't eat the wet cat food.

My dog is not picky, at all. He'll eat whatever you give him, regardless of the taste.

Ditto! We've had some problems because he eats it so fast, sometimes he doesn't chew it so good. And it ends up coming back a little after. It hasn't happened in a while, but he eats as if we're going to take his bowl away after 20 seconds. Sheesh.

My cats only eat dry food they can't take the wet food they can't keep it down. I get them Purina One hairball formula. One time I bought them the Dick Van Patten's cat food and it sat there they refused to eat it even when they were hungry. I had to give it away at work and buy the Purina One.

Picky eaters? Not in the least. They eat whatever I put down. In fact, I've seen the cats eat the dog food, and my dogs love the cat food!

The dogs are. My cats are pretty cool about whatever brand of cat food we buy them. We have never given the cats the canned kind, only dry kind. The dogs have a little bit of K&B dry and K&D canned.

I have 2 dogs and the older one is getting on my nerves.

The dry food that I had given her the company stopped making it. So............ I had to change her dry dog food. I give it to both my dogs and she ate it in the beginning and now she refuses to eat it.

She is starving I tell you and now I see her nibbling it a little more. She has me in a tizzy.

Yes, both my dog & cat will only eat one brand of food. I've tried other brands but it sits in the bowls untouched. I don't know what I'll do if they ever stop making it.

Both of my furbabies are fussy. They both dislike fish. They both like dry food and crunchy treats, and that's about the only thing they agree on. Cesar won't drink water unless it's refrigerator cold. I keep a jug in there for him. Lily eats only canned food that's juicy. She licks it dry, and aggravates me, lol.

Nope - our three cats will eat pretty much anything and everything.

Lucky you. My cats won't eat tuna fish, shrimp or even lobster.

My cats do the same thing, they like the Whiskas chicken which is really juicy, and they're lick up the liquid and leave the chicken most of the time. Unless they're really, really hungry, then I'll see some of the chicken gone.

my cats all happily eat their dry crunchies food - i usually get 9Lives, Friskies or MeowMix and i usually mix it up and try to get something different every time

however they all act weird about the different things they will beg for:

Jynx will not eat any treats or people food, it doesn't matter if is fancy cat treats or bacon or fish or anything, the most he will ever do is sniff and lick it but he wont eat it. What he goes crazy for is ICE CREAM - if you have it he WANTS it, and if you leave your bowl unattended he will stick his nose in there.

Glitchee wants chicken and fishies, but we never feed any of our animals scraps and try to discourage begging - but he will eat spinach, lettuce, parsley and practically any plants that are within reach. I try to give him cat grass, but he keeps killing it - he wants to drag the plant across the room to hoard it.

Kit wants Doritos and Cheetos, and she will whine at you if you are eating some and won't share. She will also yell at me and refuses to eat from her bowl if she can see the bottom of it.

Elly doesn't care about food, but she likes to stand under the tap in the bathtub and let the water drip onto her butt so she can lick it off.

Spooky doesn't really beg or care about food too much, but if he can smell it he gets curious and will try to sneak up on you when you are eating - do not leave plates unattended.
