Stacy Haiduk holds a prop cat from "The Young And The Restless" as she arrives at the Daytime Emmy Awards yesterday in Los Angeles.

Stacy plays the dangerously unhinged Mary Jane Benson, a.k.a. Patty Williams, on the soap opera, and one of her co-stars is a cat named Kitty. She told TVGuide.ca earlier this summer, "I have three cats. Every night when I’m reading my scenes for the next day, I rehearse with my cats on my bed. [Laughs] It’s pretty fun. The whole Y&R cast jokes about Kitty. We love her."

So how did the soap do at the Daytime Emmy Awards? Christian LeBlanc won lead actor in a drama series.

Stacy explained, "Christian LeBlanc [Michael] keeps making crazy comments to me about how he wants my kitty! I’m thinking of lending Kitty to Christian."

That's hilarious. Not really weird since it's a big prop for her character on the show. She recently sent me a signed photo and even drew a little cat smiley on it.

At least the character of Patty on the show has found a real cat to carry around with her everywhere. She's the ultimate "Crazy Cat Lady"!!!
