The Last Day Of Business

Has anyone worked at a store (going out of business) and had to help clean up on the last day? Years ago, my Dad worked at a store called ODDS N ENDS. On the last day after everything was all said and done, I came down to the store with him because they were having a party for the workers. I helped them clean everything up. They let me and Dad take home some merchandise because the registers were already gone at that point.
