How did you guys feel about Batgirl and the actress who played her? Batgirl started out great but overtime she rarely saved the day and needed saving herself. Yvonne Craig was good in the role as well as attractive.

She was way better than Alicia Silverstone from the movie, LOL.

Since Batgirl was severely limited by the prevailing notions of "decorum" regarding what she could actually do in a fight (which pretty much boiled down to "kick and spin"), I think there wasn't much room for her to do anything else.

Craig was very pretty and did a good job with both characters, I thought. I can only imagine what it must have been like to have been the only female lead on a show with notorious womanizers like West and Ward!

While Yvonne Craig was certainly nice to look at, Batgirl was more of a stunt to boost ratings than anything else.
