Fox's “American Idol” is taking a temporary Broadway turn: The latest guest judge to sit in Paula Abdul’s former seat is Kristin Chenoweth, says People.

Before her role in ABC’s now-canceled “Pushing Daisies,” Chenoweth starred on Broadway in “Wicked,” and won a Tony award for the musical “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown.”

This makes far more sense than Neil Patrick Harris. Kristen Chenoweth is a talented and accomplished singer!
