I would have switched spots between Bourne Supremacy and Bourne Ultimatum.

I also wouldn't have included Halloween III: Season of the Witch. I would have made that spot Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers or The Devil's Rejects.

There was a French Connection 2?

Why is Airplane 2 on the list? That was the dumbest thing I ever saw. And what about the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels? Certainly rank above that stupid Airplane sequel.

Am I alone in thinking Return of the Jedi was better than Empire Strikes Back?

I've only seen Halloween 2, but I thought that was a wonderful movie too.

But where, oh where is Psycho II? That was one of the best sequels I've ever seen - with Anthony Perkins and Vera Miles returning. It's hard to make a good sequel to a classic, but they really pulled it off there. Psycho III was awful, but II was great.

They also left off Return to Peyton Place, and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Come on, Return of the King won Best Picture!

I always liked Return of the Jedi better.

There is a note on the website regarding this that says:

Note: We have disregarded films that are really all of a piece, like "Lord of the Rings" and "Kill Bill", and also series that share elements but restart each time, like "Carry On" or "Three Colours".

Halloween II was good but not as good as the 4th one. To me the 4th one is the best sequel of the original franchise with H20 coming as a second-runner.

Psycho II was great, Psycho III was meh, and I also liked Psycho IV: The Beginning.

I have the entire Halloween series on DVD, but I haven't found time to watch the others yet... sounds like I'll have to now

I liked Psycho IV also, but I think II was the best of the sequels.

Sigh.

Another list that assumes no movies were made before about 1975.

How can you take a list like this seriously when it doesn't mention classic sequels like "The Bride of Frankenstein" or "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly"?

Yea you do have that right. Those 2 movies are classics and 2 of the greatest movies ever made.

I know. I mentioned "Return to Peyton Place," and what about "The Bells of St Mary's" or "After the Thin Man"?

"The Pink Panther" series also had some good films in it, and I'll be brave and admit it, I like the "Planet of the Apes" series
