Something I Am Going To Reveal In October - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

My birthday is in October and it falls on a Tuesday this year. The saturday before my birthday, I am going to take my father out to lunch and reveal to him that I am attracted to men. I have hidden this in for so long and I do not want to wait any longer. Back in the spring, I gave myself a deadline of when I would tell everyone. That way I could plan on how and when I would tell everyone. My Dad and I are close so I dont think it will be that much of a worry telling him. I realized, I will be 23 years old. I am an adult. I should be able to be who I want to be.

Since you two are close, I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. Best of luck...you're right, you should be able to be who you are. No shame in that.

Agreed! Jason, I wish you the best of luck in telling your father! And I applaud you for being responsible enough to set up a deadline for yourself and sticking to it!
