Sexpot Megan Fox will show her funny bone as the host of Saturday Night Live's premiere next month, Life & Style has learned from an insider close to the star.

SNL's 35th season will get off to a splashy start on Sept. 26, with the actress live in the NYC studio.

"Megan is psyched to have gotten this opportunity," the insider tells Life & Style. "She has a lot of surprises in store for the audience. This is the perfect opportunity for her to show off her comedic skills, as she's launching her new movie Jennifer's Body [on Sept. 18]."

Megan has been brushing up on her comedy by doing a digital short with funnyman Andy Samberg, the insider adds.

Try brushing up on your acting skills first. It's not enough just being something to look at.

This will be as hard to get down as it was seeing Michael Phelps atempt to act during last season's opener.

i dont know if shes going to be that great but compared to that michael phelps fiasco last year she will look like kathrene hepburn as a host
