Hey All,
I need some recommendations for the best LITB reference book and behind the scenes guide that is available. Sadly, I heard that Jerry's book, Still The Beaver, and Frank's book, (Isn't that one called, Don't Call Me Lumpy?) are not good sources for the show. Jerry's book is more of an autobiography than an actual account of his "Beaver" years, and there are things in Frank's book that have not been well documented by other sources, or conflict. For example, Frank says that, "Jerry and Hugh often mixed like fire and water, and a lot of times when you saw conflict, it wasn't fake." But in Jerry's book, he gives Hugh nothing but accolades and sources who read it said that at times he puts Hugh above his own father. I'm looking for a good source that is as close to the truth as possible. What's available that is good and provides reliable information? Jack |

Wow, this is an old post, but I've been wondering the same thing; about their being any books about LITB. I don't really care about the gossip and stuff, if there was any. Just some interesting facts about the show. I'm hoping there is at least something extra on the DVD sets.
