Will & Grace executive producer creating a sitcom about...gay/straight friendship

Former Will & Grace executive producer Gary Janetti is returning to familiar territory, working on a sitcom about gay-straight friendship for NBC — but this time, the friends are both men. And while the concept sounds similar to a failed 2007 pilot from Will & Grace creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick — which was loosely based on their own relationship — NBC says Janetti’s project is an entirely separate new series.

sounds good but the failed NBC pilot wasn't the first one. CBS had a sitcom that lasted maybe four episodes called "Some of my best Friends" it didn't do so good in the ratings. But maybe this show will make it.
