My Two Dads - 2 straight guys raising one child, who doesn't know which one is their biological father.

Kate and Allie - 2 divorced best friends raising their daughter and son and daugther (respectively) together.

Gimme a Break! - a widower raising 3 daughters

Benson - a widower raising one daughter

Silver Spoons - a divorced father raising a son.

Diff'rent Strokes - A rich widower raises his only biological daughter and adopts and raises 2 African-American boys

Well, yeah I guess that counts, I didn't say anything about age. So Sanford & Son would apply too.

Gee...it's not obvious by this list that divorce was taboo on TV for a good long time. Almost everyone is a widow/widower.

Love, Sidney - technically this one might kinda count though, b/c the main character (Sindey) was homosexual and playing kinda playing the role of stepdad to his female friend's daughter, whom herself was a single mom.
