Thumbs up I saw an episode

And it was kind of funny. It was the episode where Babs (is that her name?) has her baby. It was your typical someone freaks out when the woman goes into labor. This time is wasn't Babs' hubby though, it was her father. Don, the father (played by Martin Milner), is perfectly calm, but Riley freaks out and ends up hiding from orderlies. Then when the baby does come, Don faints (go figure). Pretty cute show though.

Default That was rather late in the series...

...the last season, I believe (1957-'58)...and who knows HOW far the storyline would have continued if NBC hadn't decided to cease production in the winter of 1958 and began syndicating those 200+ episodes the following fall.

Default

I haven't seen that series (except for a handful of episodes I found on VHS) in
nearly fifty years(!) ... so I didn't even remember Babs getting married on the
show! I must have seen it, though, because I was a big fan of the show
(during its original run). But I was only about eleven years old when the show
ended, and--unlike some other popular sitcoms--the reruns weren't widely
syndicated (at least not in our area). So I totally forgot about her marriage
and becoming a mother.

Default Babs got married....

..towards the end of the 1956-'57 season, 'tv star collector', and moved into her own home (after Riley almost screwed up the architect's blueprints), THEN had her baby in the final season.
