Default Andy Reid sai Kevin Kolb is still Mcnabb's Backup?????

HUH?? WHy?-lol Am I the only one who thought the signing of Vick signaled the end of the Kevin Kolb era???

Feeey and Vick and better QB options than Kolb

Vick probably isn't in football shape. I wonder how rusty he really is? It will be interesting to see if the Eagles do keep 4 Qbs. That's just never done.

Out of the 3, Feeley is the most dependable, he was close to defeated the Pats wben they were 12-0 in New England.

Wasn't Kolb drafted to be McNabb's replacement? It sounds like he's a bust. lol

No I think he was drafted to just be a BACKUP not necessarily replace Mcnabb

I think it was a little bit of both. To be a backup, but McNabb wasn't done yet, but when he is/was supposed to be done, it was said that's why they drafted Kolb in the first place.

I don't think he was ever Mnabb's replacement because he was only 30 when Kolb was drafted. Wasn't like he was 38

True. But 30 is still old in football years. It's like 70 in football years almost lol. Or maybe 60. In that case, Brett Favre was 120 . But I still think he was meant to be part of the plan in Philadelphia, when McNabb would eventually hang it up. Maybe AJ Feeley would contend with Kolb for the spot, besides any other QB the Eagles would have at that specific time in the future, but they didn't draft Kolb for nothing. That's why a lot of the Eagles fans (not me per say) were mad and surprised at the decision to draft Kolb, considering most of them loved McNabb and didn't want him to retire asap, or to leave for another team, before eventually retiring.
