I love that book. But it's only good if you're a fan of one of the shows that was on Nick at Nite in 1996. But the episode guides are entertaining.

I actually got that book myself around the time it came out (I still have it on my bookshelf, BTW). It's amazing how Nick At Nite's schedule was so much better in the spring of 1996, because right now, it's nowhere near as good as it was back then.

If I can find it, I'll let you know. Though it may be put away.

Bewitched (B&W era only) The Bob Newhart Show The Dick Van Dyke Show I Dream of Jeannie I Love Lucy The Mary Tyler Moore Show The Munsters Taxi Welcome Back, Kotter It also includes a foreword written by Dick Van Dyke, and an introduction by author Tom Hill. Also, look for a few interesting tidbits about the shows scattered throughout the book, such as an update on the "Hi, Bob" greetings by anyone from every episode of "The Bob Newhart Show" throughout the episode guide for that show. |

I got it when it was first released and at the time I thought it was very cool. But, now you can look up episode guides and trivia online so I wouldn't consider it an essential.

ok great thanks, cause all i really care about is "I Love Lucy" & "Munsters" so it would be a waste of $$ for just those 2 shows??

Very cool! I haven't heard about that book before, but I'll look around and see if I can find it. I'm not a huge fan of any of those shows, but it sounds very informative!!!

I would be interested in seeing the episode guides for Welcome Back Kotter and Mary Tyler Moore. How much is it? |

Both of Tom Hill's books, Nick at Nite's Classic TV Companion and TV Land To Go are out of print, but you can buy used copies at Amazon.com for 1 cent (and up) plus shipping. |
