It Looks Like An Eighth SAW Film May Be Coming
Lionsgate Already Planning on Eighth Saw Film
Thursday, August 13, 2009 By: MrDisgusting A small piece of news was hiding in the Hollywood Reporter's article about "Clive Barker's Hotel", a new TV series being scripted by scribes Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton. "The pair wrote the previous two movies in the [Saw] franchise and also penned the screenplay to this fall's "Saw VI." They are attached to write as many as two of the movies beyond that." This would mean the duo is already set to return for Lionsgate's Saw VIII, which would probably arrive in theaters October of 2011, assuming all goes well with the sixth and seventh film (said to be in 3-D).
