I recall reading on another website (of highly dubious credibility) that there was an episode where Wally worked for an ice cream parlor or some similiar shop. Eddie played a prank on him that got him fired. In retaliation, Eddie dumped Ice Cream on Eddie. I consider myself to be a moderate fan. I do not have all the episodes memorized, but from what I have seen and can recall that would be extremely out of character. Does such an episode actually exist? If so, what is the title and number?

Wally's Weekend Job was the sixth episode of season 5. The original airdate was November 11, 1961.

That sounds hilarious! I wish they had more than two seasons out on DVD. They show LITB on one of our local cable stations, but I think they are still in the early seasons.

I vaguely remember that episode. Eddie wanted that job. Wally gets it and also gets the girls. Eddie get jealous.

Yeah that was a good episode. In addition to Wally getting that job, getting the girls, Wallys boss called out Eddie because he owed that ice cream shop money. Naturally Eddie got embarrased in front of everyone and wanted revenge.
It'd be nice if somebody would finish this series on DVD. |

My favorite part of the episode is when Wally and Beaver are in the kitchen, and Wally wants Beaver to help him practice for work. |

That part was hillarious. Beaver was such a tough critic.
