Default What is your favorite current teen-centric/young adult series?

Which shows are your favorites?

Probably OTH. I also should've voted Degrassi, but I thought we could only vote for one before I clicked the submit button.\

People tell me I should get into Friday Night Lights though, and I lost touch with Gossip Girl a long time ago.

From your list I picked Friday Night Lights.

One night a few years ago I found myself at home with absolutely nothing to watch and a friend of mine staying over had the first season DVD. I just wanted to watch something I didn't see before not caring on what it was.

When I popped this in I didn't think I would like it being that I don't like football or go for much teen shows anymore. There was something about this show that made me want to keep on watching. I think it was the realism with these characters; it's one of the best teen shows that I ever watched.

I'm only going by the first season because that is all that I saw and I never got around to picking up the other seasons. Eventually I plan on watching more of this.

I picked Friday Night Lights. I do watch some of the other shows on the list. But FNL has better acting and writing than those shows. It sucks that NBC doesn't treat it better.

I've seen Gossip Girl once and it was okay. I watched 90210 once but only to see Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth. Otherwise, didn't care for it at all. Ten Things I Hate About You looks like it could be a good show but I haven't tuned in yet. I HATE "American Teenager" with a purple passion. IMO, that is an awful show. I watched the first 6 episodes and that was MORE than enough. I lost a little respect for Molly Ringwald after watching that garbage. I mean if I want to hear the word "sex" uttered every five minutes, I'll rent a movie. Just disgusting to see that on ABC Family channel.
