"Best Laid Plans" episode question & Jack's strange behavior - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

In the episode from I think season 3 or 2 of Threes' Company named 'Best Laid Plans', theres a mouse in the girls' bedroom so Janet sleeps in Jack's bedroom & Jack, EVEN AFTER THE MOUSE IS DEAD, wants to sleep in Janet's bed.

Question: Why on earth is Jack so Hell bent on sleeping in Janet's bed when the mouse is dead? Is Jack that much of a perv??? I'm disappointed in Jack's strange behavior - It seems like he wants to take advantage of Chrissy. but after all, nothings going on with any of them

So why then does Jack want to see Chrissy in her pajamas so bad???

That was the EARLY jack who still feel he had a chance to get some but as time went on he had no more intererst in chasing them

ok but I still don't get why Jack was so persistent in being in Janet's bed when nothing was gonna happen anyway..... Just seems like more of a perv to me.

You don't have male friends who try to pull that stuff all the time?

When I was in college we had a prowler climbing up the dorm's fire escape one night. My roommate and I called the campus cops, and they caught him, but the girls next door were pretending to be all freaked out, asking us to protect them. I said okay, but to make sure they were extra safe, they'd have to sleep in our beds with us. Then they said "Ohhh.....just knowing your in the next room makes us feel safe"

Total Jack Tripper moment.

Well, in case you've forgotten, Chrissy was a slut in the early episodes, so he thought, with Janet out of the picture, he might could get somewhere with Chrissy.

And it's very clear that you *DO NOT* understand men. Every red-blooded, heterosexual male is what you would call a "perv".

One thing that I will have to give the last poster is that he has a great sense of humor! Now, while we are on the topic of staring lady's butts, I would like to let you guys in on a double meaning that I have already written about countless times on other pages of this site. It has to do with Paul's mother Sylvia from "Mad About You". In an early episode, there was a time in which her back was to the audience and she was wearing a pair of designer jeans that I thought were to die for! The way that I would sum the situation up is by saying that on that series, Jamie and Fran were hot stuff and Lisa and Sylvia were not far "behind"!

Hmm... let me think about it. Stay in my bedroom alone or sleep in another bedroom with 2 average looking girls (even if nothing happens), Chrissy in her nighties (might get a nice peek at something) or Janet in her see through pajamas....yea guess which one I'm choosing.

The answer is simple because Jack has a penis.
