Music Favorite Sesame Street songs

1. "C" is for Cookie by the fabulous Cookie Monster. Hands down, my #1 favorite.
2. Rubber Duckie by Ernie
3. I Love Trash by Oscar
4. The original theme song, not that techno version they've had for awhile. (Do they still have that, or did they go back to the original?)
5. The "D" Song with Ernie and Cookie Monster.
6. Alligator King
7. Put Down the Duckie (If You Wanna Play the Saxaphone)
8. The Alphabet Song by Big Bird. Funny how he thought the alphabet was one long word.
9. The Ladybug Picnic
10. The Monster Song by Grover

I also loved their take on popular songs from the 70's and 80's, like Rebel L, Cereal Girl, Born to Add, and With a Little Yelp from my Friends. There are so many good ones.

In no particular order:

Rubber Duckie
The Ladybug Picnic
Original Theme Song
C is For Cookie
The People in Your Neighborhood
Letter B
Bein' Green
Imagine That
Mahna Mahna
Land of Eight
Honk Around the Clock

And many, many more I can't remember at the moment. Here is a GREAT site that helped jog my memory a bit:

OMG, you guys are AWESOME! I was thinking that people would think I was crazy for posting that Sesame Street stuff yesterday, so I'm glad to see that more has been added!

Thanks SO mcuh for that site, Monika! I don't have time now, but I'm definitely going to go through it and "be a kid again"!

For now though, these are my favorite songs.

Right now my favorite song is "Furry Happy Monsters", because I am seriously addicted to it! Crazy, huh? BTW, in case you haven't seen all the links I've posted to this song, it's the one with REM singing with the monsters. SO adorable!

People in Your Neighborhood
Sing (my other favorite!)
C Is for Cookie
Sesame Street Theme
ABC-DEF-GHI

I promise to add more later!

Can't believe I'm replying to this, but Follow that Bird has the best soundtrack! Even though it's a movie it's still Sesame Street. Songs like Grouch Anthem, Ain't No Road Too Long, Easy Goin' Day. Classics!

Follow That Bird was the very first movie I ever saw in the theater, back in August of 1985. My grandma took me to see it. 20 years later I rented it on a lark and totally enjoyed it.

Um, okay, then why are you posting on a SITCOM board?

Anyway, I thought of some more songs, some I've already mentioned...

"12" Does anyone remember that animated pinball machine? The Pinball Song, I think it's called. Here's the youtube clip...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgocE-JfWFI (Actually this is a version that someone created on Youtube so it's a lot longer than the original one.)

Ladybug Picnic

C is for Cookie

Happy Furry Monsters (REM)

10 Tiny Turtles.... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Egk7-m1lwsA)

Doin' The Pigeon (I thought Bert was hilarious when he would dance to this song!)

Sing

Fairy Alphabet-this is probably my favorite of all.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eLPPxSdwJw

King of 8
Queen of 6

Mystic 20 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOkbu...-exp_fresh+div

Put Down the Duckie

Little Doll House

Carmen-the singing orange

Alligator King

My Martian Cutie -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOAthOufeIU

OMG, as I'm making this list, I'm searching for videos on Youtube and I'm finding stuff I haven't seen in probably 30 years! Amazing!!

I would have to say my favorite Sesame Street song was Cereal Girl because it was cute and I used to sing along with the song and it was such an awesome song that really did a great job of having a Muppet character do a awesome version of Madonna's Material Girl in a parody. I think I remember the song Little Doll House because Mom and I thought it was such a darling song and had a cute video with adorable kittens playing in the doll house
