Karen realy bothered me in Something's Coming

Is it just me or did Karen's actions seems a bit unfair or out of the blue? Why in the world would she just all of a sudden turn on the Scavos and act like she didn't want them in her home (especially in a disaster?). Some folks talking about the show in other forums thought Lynette was very rude and imposing. Frankly I though it was bizarre she'd have to beg to get entry into Karen's basement in the first place.

I also was put off by Karen's tirade against Lynette about how she only comes around when she wants something. It may not be a lie per say, but it is a half truth and imples that Lynette is a user. It leaves out their history of give and take and ignores that Lynette has done plenty for Karen. If the writers want to make a commentary about people only coming around when they want something why not pick a situation where there isn't mutual favors between two folks being a foundation of their history.
